I lacquered copper to preserve shine polish. So it didn't, if you keep necklace far from bathroom))

You can wet it. Сaught the rain for example. Nothing is happen. But it can not be stored in a room with high humidity. Any protective coating collapse by the time, and copper oxides - became darker.
