More and more of the items seen in my gallery have been created using the process of electroforming.
Electroplating is a method to put a metal coating onto an object by placing it in a solution containing the metal to be plated and passing an electrical current through the piece and the solution. It means that that any object can be saved in metal.
I'm use organic objects and coat them with a layer of real metal. It's allowing to use natural shapes, textures in jewelry. Anything you can find in nature can be incorporated in jewelry: from leaves to acorns and sea shells.
Also I use electroplating to cover my jewelry with additional metal layer - it makes them more rugged.
